Welcome to FIG.org!

FIG.org exists to promote freedom for all beings, everywhere, as described in the FIG Vision. What does FIG stand for? We stand for everything that is linked to freedom.

FIG.org provides resources to help you claim your own personal freedom, and to encourage others to do the same. We are bringing a new understanding of freedom into the universe.

Taking the plunge

Dive in... you have nothing to lose but your old way of looking at life!

• People have written personal testimonies describing what FIG means to them. These are fairly short articles, and will give you a good idea of what the FIG Project is about. Try starting with the ones written by people who are similar to you.
• The FIG Project is interdenominational, interdisciplenary, interspecies, and interstellar. Many, many entities are FIGs. We're keeping a list of some of them at the FIG Registry.
• We have philosophical writings for people who like to think about the nature of things. If freedom talk appeals to you, then you've come to the right place.
• FIG.org maintains several FIG discussion forums, where you can talk about freedom and details of FIG with other people.
• If you want to contribute, then check out our TODO list. If you have money, then you can donate some of it to another FIG's work. If you can't find a FIG to help on your own, look for a Registered FIG, or somebody on the FIG.org maintainers list whose work you appreciate, and send them some cash! The more FIGs we have, the better the world will be.

We welcome change

Everything on this web site is undergoing constant revision and changes. We rely on you to help us in the process of improving and adding to the material on this site.

If you have any suggestions at all (even ones you think we don't want to hear), please tell us! We want to work closely with you in order to improve FIG.org so that it better promotes freedom.

In fact, FIG.org is maintained entirely by volunteers who are just like you: we encourage you to read the FIG Collaboration Protocol and become a FIG.org apprentice, if our mission appeals to you and you feel you can help.
